High Street, Poole, Temporary Road Restrictions

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (Parking Regulation, On-Street Parking Places and Off-Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No. 11] Order 2022


Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has made the above Order on 22 March 2022. The Order comes into operation on 1 April 2022 as detailed in the Schedule below.
From 25 March 2022 a copy of this Notice, copies of the Order, plans illustrating the proposals, the reasons for the proposals and the Order being amended, may be inspected online at:

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, as amended, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 22 March 2022, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

The traffic restrictions on the following roads as advertised and consulted on in the Proposals reference P11 2021 from 24 September 2021 to 15 October 2021 are due to be implemented as detailed in Parts 1 and 2 below:
Part 1 - implement as advertised
High St, Old Orchard (Western side of carriageway adj. to No. 1), Old Orchard (Eastern side of the carriageway way opposite junction with Strand St), Old Orchard (Eastern side of the carriageway adj. to Dolphin Quays), Paradise St, The Quay
Part 2 - implement amended restriction
Old Orchard (Eastern side of the carriageway opposite No. 1) - amended restriction: Loading Only 7am-10am/ Coaches Only limited wait to 10 minutes no return within 1 hour 10am-7am
