This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[1] To impose temporary road closure on Various Roads, Almer, Mapperton & Winterborne Zelston as listed:

[i] Unnamed Road, Almer from the junction with A31 to St Mary's Church;
[ii] Unnamed Road, Mapperton from St Mary's Church to outside 29 Mapperton;
[iii] Marsh Bridge Lane, Winterborne Zelston in it's entirety.

[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Various Roads, Almer, Mapperton & Winterborne Zelston as listed:

[i] Unnamed Road, Almer from the junction with A31 to St Mary's Church;
[ii] Unnamed Road, Mapperton from St Mary's Church to outside 29 Mapperton;
[iii] Marsh Bridge Lane, Winterborne Zelston in it's entirety.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Closure of Ridgeway Lane, Child Okeford

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Ridgeway Lane Child Okeford, from the junction and where the road meets with Gold Hill (in both directions), a distance of approximately 230 metres.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 31 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 June 2022.

Temporary Closure of Public Footpath E2/8 Wimborne


DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath E2/22,Wimborne, from grid reference 402851.75 to grid reference 99376.60, a distance of approximately 190 metres.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.

It will come into operation on 31 May 2022 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.

This closure is required to allow Wyatt Homes to construct a residential development.

Temporary Traffic Management Notice
Temporary Parking Restriction Market Place, Bladford


DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 30 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24 June 2022.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surfacing works. The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[i] To temporarily suspend parking along Market Place, Blandford from the junction of Salisbury street and Church Lane for a distance of 80 metres as indicated by signs and cones on site.

[ii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Market Place, Blandford.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Closure of Park Homer Road, Colehill

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along PARK HOMER ROAD, COLEHILL from the junction of Park Homer Drive (in both directions), a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 13 June 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1 July 2022

This Order will enable JDT Utilities agents of SGN to safely access the highway while undertaking essential gas main replacement.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using Park Homer Road - Middlehill Road.

Notice of Variation Off-street Parking Places (Dorset) 2022

Dorset Council in exercise of powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers hereby make the following changes:

• Add 'Restricted Mobility Parking Permit' scheme to Schedule 2 of The Dorset Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2022.
• Remove East Dorset Disabled Parking Permit and West Dorset Exemption

Parking Permit from Schedule 1 of The Dorset Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2022. All permits will continue to be valid until the expiry date stated.

This Variation Order will come into effect on the 13 June 2022.

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.

It will come into operation on 24 May 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 May 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surface treatment works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Notton Road, Notton between 24 May 2022 and 30 May 2022 as indicated by signs on site.
[2] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Notton Road, Notton between 24 May 2022 and 30 May 2022 as indicated by signs on site.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 07 June 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11 July 2022.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on;
SPRING CLOSE, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 50 metres.
GORE CROSS WAY, between its junction with Pageants Close and number 11, a distance of approximately 100 metres.

[2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along;
SPRING CLOSE, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 50 metres.
GORE CROSS WAY, between its junction with Pageants Close and number 11, a distance of approximately 100 metres.

[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting on the highway along; SPRING CLOSE, in its entirety, a distance of approximately 50 metres. GORE CROSS WAY, between its junction with Pageants Close and number 11, a distance of approximately 100 metres.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
