THE BOROUGH OF CHRISTCHURCH (VARIOUS ROADS AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION OF ORDERS MADE FOR WAITING AND ON STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT No 2 ) ORDERS 2013
THE CHRISTCHURCH BOROUGH COUNCIL ("the Council") acting as agent of the Dorset County Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with the said County Council, has made an Order amending The Borough Of Christchurch (Various Roads And Parking Places) (Consolidation Of Orders Made For Waiting And On-Street Parking Places) Order 2012 and The Borough of Christchurch (Various Roads and Parking Places) (Consolidation of Orders Made for Waiting and On Street Parking Places) (Amendment No 1) Order 2013 under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act. The effect of this will be as follows:-
Albion Road
A no waiting at any time restriction will be introduced on both sides of the road from its junction with Fairmile Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction.
Anchor Close
The no waiting April to September, 10 am to 7pm restriction will be replaced with a no waiting at any time restriction on its western side from its junction with Mudeford for a distance of 24 metres in a southerly direction and on its eastern side from its junction with Mudeford for a distance of 31 metres in a southerly and easterly direction.
Barrack Road
A no stopping on the footway restriction will be introduced on its north eastern side from the boundary with 93 & 95 Barrack Road for a distance for 36 metres in a south easterly direction.
Dorset Road
The current bus clearway restriction will be relocated 13 metres south of its current location to allow the introduction of a Waiting Limited to Blue Badge Holders only restriction. The current no waiting and no loading at any time restriction will be reduced in length by 13 metres.
Douglas Avenue
The Waiting Limited to Blue Badge Holders only restriction outside of no 17 Douglas Avenue will be removed.
Fairmile Parade
A waiting limited to 2 hours, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm, No return within 2 hours will be introduced for the entire length of its south western side in a north westerly direction.
A no waiting at any time restriction will be introduced on, its north eastern side for the entire length.
Field Way
The no waiting 8am to 9am and 2.30pm to 3pm restriction will be extended from the boundary of no. 1 Parkside and no, 9 Field Way to its north western extremity.
Lincoln Avenue
A no waiting at any time restriction will be introduced on both sides of the road from the junction of Suffolk Avenue for a distance of 6 metres in a north westerly direction.
Livingstone Road
A no waiting at any time restriction will be introduced on the western side from the boundary of 2 & 3a Livingstone Road for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction.
Marshlands Close
A no waiting 8am to 7pm restriction will be introduced on both sides of the road for its entire length.
Moffat Road
The no waiting at any time restriction on its northern at its junction with Livingstone Road will be extended for a distance of 24 metres in a westerly direction.
Monkswell Green
A no waiting 8am to 7pm restriction will be introduced on both sides of the road from the junction with the cul-de-sec to odd no's 1 to 43 Monkswell Green to the extent of the adopted highway at its eastern extremity.
Mudeford
The current no waiting April to September, 10am to 7pm restriction on its southern side from the boundary of no's 137 & 139 Mudeford to the boundary of no's 141 & 143 Mudeford will be replaced with a no waiting at any time restriction.
Newcroft Gardens
A no waiting 8am to 9am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm restriction will be introduced on its western side for the entire length.
Purewell
The Waiting Limited to 30 Minutes Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, No return within 30 minutes restriction on its southern side from a point 8 metres west of its junction with Fernlea for a distance of 26 metres in an easterly direction, will be replaced with a no waiting at any time restriction.
Quay Road
The existing Waiting Limited, Mon to Sat, 8am to 6pm, 1 hour, No Return within 1 hour, Except Permit Holders Only Restriction will become a Resident Permit Holders Only restriction.
Springwater Drive
A no waiting 8am to 7pm restriction will be introduced on both sides for its entire length.
Stanpit
The current no waiting at any time restriction on the north western side of its junction with Bub Lane will be extended for a distance of 7 metres in a north westerly direction.
Stour Road
The current waiting limited to 30 minutes 10am to 6pm, no return within 1 hour restriction on its north western side will be removed from a point 3 metres north east of the boundary of 83a & 85 for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction and replaced with a no waiting at any time restriction.
Suffolk Avenue
A no waiting at any time restriction will be introduced on its north-western side from the boundary 36 & 38 Suffolk Avenue for a distance of 39 metres in a north easterly direction.
Wick Point Mews
A no waiting at any time restriction will be introduced on the northern side from its junction with Wick Lane to the boundary of 15 & 17 Wick Point Mews and on the southern side from its junction with Wick Lane for a distance of 11 metres in a westerly direction from a point 25 metres west of its junction with Wick Lane to the junction with the car park, and from a distance 83 metres west of its junction with Wick Lane for a distance of 17 metres westerly and southerly direction.
