STREET TRADING RESOLUTION
Notice is hereby given that Christchurch Borough Council intends to pass the following resolution at their Licensing Committee on 3rd June 2013:
As from 1st September 2013, the streets known as Church Street and High Street, Christchurch, including all carriageways, footways, lay-bys and verges, and other open areas adjacent to and within a distance of 10 metres of the streets, shall be re-designated from 'prohibited' streets to streets requiring 'consent' to trade, under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982.
The effect of the resolution will be to require persons to obtain consent from Christchurch Borough Council to sell or offer articles for sale within the designated areas.
Any person wishing to make representations to the Licensing Committee on the proposals should do so in writing to the undersigned within 28 days from the date of this Notice to: Head of Planning and Health Christchurch Borough Council, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 1AZ
