Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Oxford,Various Roads in Headington

Temporary Traffic Measures Date of Order: 21 November 2016 Comes into force: 28 November 2016 This Order is being introduced because of works to install ducting for a heating system, communications and high voltage electricity for a joint hospitals energy link, which is anticipated to take variously until mid April 2017 to complete. The effect of the Order, when appropriate traffic signs are displayed is to temporarily prohibit parking/waiting and to close to traffic various sections of road and junctions as follows, and the works to progress as shown below. The anticipated dates are subject to progress based on weather conditions and any unforeseen complications.

Stage 1: from junction of Barrington Close to Lime Walk

Stage 2: from 55 Latimer Road into All Saints Road to junction with Barrington Close

Sandfield Road:

from Woodlands Road junction to London Road junction.

Latimer Road: from London Road junction to All Saints Road junction

Lime Walk: Between Old Road & All Saints Road junctions.

No Waiting

Lime Walk - Between Old Road & All Saints Road junctions. Access from Old Road only one way, with traffic flowing northwards in the direction of All Saints

Road.

Diversion via All Saints Road, Stapleton Road, Old Road, Lime Walk

One-way traffic

02/01/17 ? 19/03/17

All Resident Permit Parking, Shared Parking, Disabled Parking and other Restricted Time Parking Bays at the above locations on both sides of the road will be suspended when shown by appropriate traffic signs and cones. Some alternative parking arrangements have been made available for residents affected by the parking suspensions. These can be obtained by contacting the Council's Parking Enforcement Team on 0845 310 1111. Further parking will be made available at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital by Vital Energi.As the works progress parking places will be re-established. Exemptions to restrictions are included for emergency services, the works and essential access to property, subject to the progress ofthe works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

The relevant parts of the following Traffic Regulation Orders (as amended) will be temporarily suspended as required for the duration of the works:The Oxfordshire County Council (Headington West) (Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2000; The Oxfordshire County Council (Headington Central) (Controlled Parking Zone and Various Restrictions) Order 2005; The Oxfordshire County Council (Disabled Persons Parking Places ? Oxford) Order 2010.
