Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Wantage Footpath 391/35 closure Date of Order: 12 December 2016 Coming into force: 21 December 2016
This order is being introduced for safety reason due to construction work at the Stockham Farm Development site northwest of Washbrough Avenue which is anticipated to take 4 months to complete. The effect of the order, when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, is to prohibit use of a section of Footpath No.391/35 which runs northwest between Washbrough Avenue and the Old Canal (Stockham Bridge - junction of East Challow footpath 196/7 and Grove footpath 235/1). A through route will be provided around the northeast side of the work site. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works.
This order will remain in force for six months (and may be extended if required with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport).
