PLANNING ACT 2008 (AS AMENDED) COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY REGULATIONS 2010 (AS AMENDED)
NOTICE OF PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY DRAFT CHARGING SCHEDULE BETWEEN 15 DECEMBER 2016 AND 26 JANUARY 2017
Under Section 212 of the Planning Act 2008 (as amended by Section 114 of the Localism Act 2011), and the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010 (as amended) Regulations 16 and 17, Vale of White Horse District Council intends to submit an updated Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedule (DCS) for Examination.
Hard copies of the CIL DCS and associated supporting document are available for inspection in the following places:
council offices at 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton, OX14 4SB weekdays from 8.30am to 5pm (4.30pm Fridays)
public libraries in Abingdon-on-Thames, Botley, Didcot, Faringdon, Grove, Kennington and Wantage during normal

If you would like to make a representation on the DCS you can do so by:
writing to Planning Policy, Vale of White Horse District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton, OX14 4SB
We encourage those responding to use the prescribed representations form, which is available to download from our website and at locations identified for hard copy inspection.
All representations must be received by the Council no later than 5pm on Thursday 26 January 2017. Please be aware
that all comments that we receive will be publicly available and may be included on our website. All representations received within the consultation period will be considered by an independent Planning Inspector as part of an Examination into the CIL Charging Schedule.
Please note that those making representations on the CIL DCS also have the right to be heard in person at the
Examination on 23 February 2017. This is being held from 10am at the Beacon, Wantage with the 24 February 2017 being held in reserve. Please indicate on your response form if you wish to attend.
Any person making representations on the Draft Charging Schedule may request that they be notified at a specific address of any of the following:
(i)that the Draft Charging Schedule has been submitted to the examiner in accordance with section 212 of PA 2008,
(ii) the publication of the recommendations of the examiner and the reasons for those recommendations, and
(iii) the approval of the charging schedule by Vale of White Horse District Council.
