NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 VALE OF WHITE HORSE DISTRICT COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH KINGSTON BAGPUIZE No 268/7
(LAND AT ABINGDON ROAD/OXFORD ROAD,
KINGSTON BAGPUIZE) PUBLIC FOOTPATH DIVERSION ORDER 2016
On 30 January 2017 Vale of White Horse District Council confirmed the above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the footpath as described in Schedule 1 of this notice and as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at Vale of White Horse District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.
This Order will come into force on the date that
Oxfordshire County Council certifies the Order, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes
under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice
is first published as required by paragraph 7 of
Schedule 14 to that Act.
SCHEDULE PART 1
Description of site of existing footpath path (A - B - C as indicated on the map)
Path to be extinguished
The whole width of that part of Public Footpath,
Kingston Bagpuize No 268/7 commencing at Grid Reference 4083 9823 (Point A) and running in a
generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 61 metres to Grid Reference 4084 9817 (Point B), then arcing and running in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 48 metres to
Grid Reference 4081 9813 (Point C).

Description of site of alternative footpath (G -F - E - D
as indicated on the map) Path to be created
Public Footpath, 2 metres wide commencing at Grid Reference 40841 98232 (Point G) and running in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 35 metres to Grid Reference 40823
98204 (Point F) then running in an easterly direction for
a distance of approximately 30 metres to Grid
Reference 40830 98175 (Point E) then turning and
running in a generally south easterly direction for a
distance of approximately 48 metres to Grid Reference
40811 98134 (Point D).
