ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE M5 AND M42 MOTORWAYS (M5 JUNCTION 4A TO M42 LINK ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an Order on the M5 and M42 Motorways near Bromsgrove in the County of Worcestershire to enable lighting, cleaning, maintenance, inspections and testing works to be carried out. The effect of the Order will be to close the link road leading from the southbound carriageway of the M5 at Junction 4a to the eastbound carriageway of the M42. The work will be carried out over one night between 21:30 hours and 06:00 and is expected to start on Tuesday 31 January 2017. The Order will come into force on Friday 27 January 2017. Vehicles being used for police, fire brigade, ambulance, winter maintenance or traffic officers purposes or being used in connection with the works are exempt from the closure. A diversion route via M5 Junction 4 and the A38 will be signed.
