NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of orders which come into force on 20 February 2017 is as follows:
1.) to revoke and replace the Oxfordshire County Council (Swalcliffe Parish) (Speed Limit) Order 2003 to correct an administrative error only. The order will show the extent of the 30mph speed limit on the B4035 as (western end) to a point 70 metres northwest of the centre-line of Park Lane and (eastern end) to a point 186 metres northeast of the centre-line of Green Lane.There is no change to the position of the existing speed limit signs. 2.) to prohibit vehicles entering Jervis Close, Steeple Barton from Fleming Drive following construction of this new junction associated with nearby development. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection at County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND from 8.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, at Charlbury Library, Corner House, Market Street, OX7 3PN from 9.30am to 12pm and 2 - 5pm Monday & Friday, 2 - 5pm & 5.30 - 7pm Wednesday and 9.30am - 12pm Saturday. and at Hook Norton Library; High Street, OXI5 5NH, Monday and Friday 2-5 and 6-7pm, Wednesday 2-5pm, and Saturday
If you wish to question the validity of Order 2. only, or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement ofthis Act or ofany instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from the I3 February 20I7 applyto the High Court for this purpose.
