OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (Oxford City) (Designation and Regulation of Pay and Display Parking Places) Order 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 25 September 2017 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, which comes into force on 2 October 2017 is to update Pay and Display Parking payment methods in Oxford City New pay and display machines have been installed in Oxford City to replace the current obsolete machines The new machines will still issue standard pay and display parking tickets and payments may now be made by the insertion of either coins, or a credit or debit card. Pay and Display parking charges are unchanged The introduction ofthe newmachines involved technical adjustment to the existing orders - The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Central Area) (Designation and Regulation of Street Parking Places) Order 2002 (as amended), and The Oxfordshire County Council (Pay and Display Parking Oxford City) Order 2002 (as amended) which have been revoked and consolidated into this new above.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirementofthisActor ofanyinstrumentmade under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from the 25 September 2017 applyto the High Court for this purpose.
