A4144 WOODSTOCK ROAD JUNCTIONS WITH SOUTH PARADE, OAKTHORPE

ROAD AND THORNCLIFFE ROAD, OXFORD: PROPOSED ROAD HUMPS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to construct under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Highways Act 1980 flattop road humps across the following roads at their junctions with A4144 Woodstock Road:

(a) South Parade,



(b) Oakthorpe Road,



(c) Thorncliffe Road.



The humps will be 75mm high and have ramp gradients of 1:12, with the width of the flat tops of the humps being approximately 2 metres

Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting: https:Hconsultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX 1 1ND from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and at Summertown Library, South Parade, Summertown, OX2 7JN (during 'staffed' hours) on Monday & Friday from 9.30am to 5pm, Tuesday & Thursday from 9.30am to 6.30pm, and from 9am to 4pm on Saturday.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 08 December 2017. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
