NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 119 NOTICE OF MAKING A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION

ORDER

VALE OF WHITE HORSE DISTRICT COUNCIL

PUBLIC FOOTPATH, SPARSHOLT NO. 5 (NORTHFIELD FARM BUNGALOW, CHALLOW) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2018

The above Order was made on 5 June 2018 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order will be to divert the footpath described in Schedule 1 to this notice as shown on the Order map.

A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen

free of charge at Vale of White Horse District Council from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.

Any representation about or objection to the Order

may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to

Democratic Services, Vale of White Horse District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton OX14 4SB not later than 6 July 2018. Please state the

grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if

any so made are withdrawn, Vale of White Horse District Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

SCHEDULE PART 1

Description of site of existing footpath path (A - B - C

as indicated on the map) Path to be Extinguished

The whole width of that part of Public Footpath,

Sparsholt No 5 commencing at Grid Reference SU 3459 9074 (Point A) and running in a generally south south-easterly direction for a distance of

approximately 97 metres to Grid Reference SU 3461

9065 (Point B) then continuing in an east north-easterly

direction for approximately 24 metres to Grid Reference SU 3463 9066 (Point C).

PART 2

Description of site of alternative footpath (A - C as indicated on the map)

Path to be Created

Public Footpath, 3 metres wide commencing at Grid Reference SU 3459 9074 (Point A) and running in a

generally south easterly and then south-south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 107 metres to

Grid Reference SU 3463 9066 (Point C).
