THE A34 TRUNK ROAD (NEAR OXFORD) (CLOSURE OF LAY-BY) ORDER 2018
Highways England Company Limited hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A34 in the County of Oxfordshire.
The Order will come in to force on 22nd June 2018 and its effect is to close the lay-by adjacent to the A34 southbound between points 381 metres and 280 metres north of the South Hinksey Junction overbridge.
A copy of the made Order, a plan illustrating the proposal and a statement explaining why Highways England Company Limited made the Order may be inspected during office hours at -
(i) Oxfordshire County Council, County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND

(ii) Vale of White Horse District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton, OX14 4SB

until 26th July 2018.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the order or of any of its provisions on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
