Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Chadlington, Horse Shoe Lane and Catsham Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 18 June 2018 Coming into force: 26 June 2018 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance works which are anticipated to take 13 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the lengths of Horse Shoe Lane and Catsham Lane south of Chadlington. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4437, A361 Burford Road, Chipping Norton Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref JaC/T5673)

MONAHAN WAY (CARTERTON) -PROPOSED TOUCAN CROSSINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Oxfordshire County Council proposes as a result of the development of adjacent land - to install crossings centred at the following locations: Toucan crossings - a signal controlled crossing for use by both pedestrians and pedal cyclists:
1. Monahan Way - approx. 30* metres south of its junction with Bluebell Way,
2. Monahan Way -approx.165* metres south of its junction with Bluebell Way, this crossing will be a staggered Toucan crossing with a central island.
* All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the feature. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the scheme are available for public inspection online by visiting: https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at: County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND from 8.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday; and at Carterton Library, 6 Alvescot Road, Carterton, OX18 3JH, from 9.30am to 5pm Monday & Thursday, 9.30am to 7pm Tuesday, 10am to 7pm Friday and from 9.30am to 1pm Saturday. Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 20 July 2017. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
