BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL (Verulam Place) Experimental Order (no. 1) 2019

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council ("The Council") has made the above Order on 5 April 2019. When the Order becomes operative on 12 April 2019 the items contained in Part 1 to this notice will cease to have effect, and the items contained in Part 2 to this notice will apply.

The provisions of the Schedule may be varied or amended within the regulations governing Experimental Orders. The persons authorised to agree such variations or amendments are: The Chief Constable of the Dorset Police and the Director of Growth and Infrastructure of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council; or such of their officers as they may authorise.

A copy of the Order as made, maps showing the location and effects of the Order, a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, a statement of the Council's reasons for proceeding by way of an Experimental Order and its intention to consider making a permanent order in like terms, may be examined at the Enquiry Desk at the Town Hall Annexe, Bournemouth on Mondays to Thursdays between 9am and 4.30pm, and on Fridays between 9am and 4pm. Details are also available at: http:// www.bournemouth.gov.uk/StreetsTransport/ CurrentHighwayConsultations aspx The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Within a period of six months from the coming into force of the Order - 12 April 2019, or if the Order is subsequently varied by other Orders (under section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or modified pursuant to sub-section (2) of Section 10 of the Act), from the coming into operation of those variations or modifications (whichever are the latest), any person may object to the making of an Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation. Any such objection must be in writing, quoting reference EX1 2019 and must give the grounds on which it is made and must be sent to The Traffic Management Team, Town Hall Annexe, St Stephen's Road, Bournemouth, BH2 6EAor e-mailed to traffic@bournemouth.gov.uk. Please take note that all representations received will be available for public inspection. Respondents will be informed of the outcome.

Part 3 - Summary of Changes Verulam Place - Revocation of one echelon Residents Permit Only parking bay from Verulam Place. Replaced with No Waiting and No Loading At Any Time Yelverton Road - Relocation of existing Disabled only parking bay by approx. 6m in a north-westerly direction (no reduction in number of spaces). This will revoke 6m of No Waiting At Any Time. New 6m long Residents Permit Only parking bay outside Appetites
