HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 26 NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH CREATION ORDER SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (FOOTPATH AT GREAT WESTERN PARK, DIDCOT) CREATION ORDER 2016 On the 13 day of May 2019 the South Oxfordshire District Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 26 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order, as confirmed, is to create the public footpath 2 metres wide commencing at Grid Reference 5054 9066 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 19 metres to Grid Reference 5055 9067 (Point B on the Plan) then running in a generally south easterly direction for a further 56 metres to its junction with Didcot FP 21 at Grid Reference 5058 9063 (Point C on the Plan) as shown on the Order Map. A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at South Oxfordshire District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton, OX14 4SB from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondayto Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.

The Order comes into force upon certification by Oxfordshire County Council, but if any person aggrieved by the order wishes to questi on its vali dity, or that of any provisi on contai ned i n it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been properly complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks of the date of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
