(CHINNOR, MILL LANE) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 20 May 2019 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. As a result of the development of adjacent land, Mill Lane has been closed to motor vehicles at its crossroads junction with the Thame Road/Station Road/Lower Road. A new T-junction with Thame Road has been created approximately 60 metres to the northwest with this new road going southwards to Mill Lane. The order, which comes into force on 25 May 2019 closes off the eastern end of Mill Lane creating a cul-de-sac preventing vehicle access to the crossroads. , or in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND, between 8.30am & 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and at Chinnor Library, Station Road, Chinnor, OX39 4PU, from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 5.30pm on Monday & Wednesday, from 2pm to 7pm on Thursday, from 2pm to 5.30pm Friday, and from 9.30am to 1pm Saturday.
If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from the 20 May 2019 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
