Classes, Courses & Workshops
Clownkind :0) Summer Residential at The Abbey Sutton Courtenay, A Theatre of Being with Sharon Usher

The course is a contemporary and playful take on the inner and the outer journey of life through the sensibility of the clown. We use the red nose as the ‘mask that unmasks’, a symbol of the true self that is hiding in plain sight, and that is embodied when we play, without plans, scripts or specific goals but with an attitude of truth, vulnerability, connectedness and curiosity.
Over the course of 6 days, living as a temporary community at the beautiful 14th Century Abbey at Sutton Courtenay we’ll find out more about ourselves, learn how to have fun on stage, and gain new perspectives and insights about the big issues of our shared world.
Sharon Usher
