Wesley Place was originally the Wesleyan Reform Chapel built by followers of John Wesley

around 1800 and it was mentioned in the

Oxfordshire Religious Census of 1851. During World War II it was a Forces' canteen. It was sold in the 1990s to be converted into a private house.

You may enter into the house straight into the extensive sitting room with two sash windows either side of the front door allowing for an abundance of natural light. The reception room also has wooden floors, a brick fire place and has retained many period features such as an alcove and three bespoke stained windows representing the three local churches.

There is a large open plan kitchen with a range of wall and base units allowing for space for appliances. A dining area is positioned on the right ideal for family living or entertaining. From the kitchen there is a door leading through to the rear garden.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms all with their own period features as well as two bathrooms (one en-suite). Overall a very pretty well presented period house which has been thoughtfully maintained.

Outside

There is parking to the front of the house with a gated pathway leading through to the front garden. This walled garden has mature beds to the left as well as a paved area to the right ideal for a table and chairs or a selection of pots and tubs. There is an enclosed rear garden with a garden shed and a pond.
