A new £4m Nissan dealership has opened for business on the Oxford Motor Park, creating 20 jobs.
The purpose-built site near Kidlington stretches over 14,000sq ft and includes a 10-car showroom and a dedicated used vehicle centre. It is being operated by Derek Sims, formerly a director of Sytner and Inchcape, who is new to Nissan and the area.
Nissan's national franchising director Angus Gray said: "Derek is an excellent operator and a very welcome addition to our dealer portfolio.
"This new purpose-built site in Kidlington showcases the new style of Nissan dealership and it's in the ideal location."
The site takes over the dealership from Crossroads, which is opposite the new building and previously shared the franchise with Renault.
Crossroads will continue as a sole Renault dealer and Nissan spokesman Linda Robinson confirmed that all customers have been informed of the change. The dealership, which is looking to recruit a further three sales staff, will have an official opening on Thursday evening with a casino-themed evening for invited guests.
