REDFORD Robert (Bob) Passed away peacefully at The Grange in Stanford in the Vale on 14th December 2023. He was a very well known man around Wantage and surrounding areas for being a Postman with Royal Mail for almost 30 years. He was a keen footballer in his younger years and played for local teams. You could often find him watching cricket at Challow and football at Wantage Town Football Club. He often liked to frequent the bookmakers in Wantage. He was a loving husband to Maureen, they were married for 46 years. He was a Father to David and Peter, a Grandfather to Rebekah and Alex, and a Great-Grandfather to their children. There will be a service at South Oxfordshire Crematorium, Garford on 11th January at 11am, followed by refreshments at La Fontana, East Hanney. If you would like to pay your respects, please let his son David Kent know so we have an idea of numbers. Family flowers only, donations will be accepted for Dementia UK via David.
