IS this the most Christmassy house in Oxfordshire?

The Pearson family of Didcot have gone all out to show they are in the spirit of the season.

Their Medlock Grove house has been decked out with inflatables, lazers and thousands of fairy lights for the 10th year in a row.

Their annual Christmas lights spectacular has become so popular that hundreds of people now gather every year to watch them turn it on.

Hundreds of pounds were donated at the launch on Sunday, which will be given to charity Didcot Train which works with young people in the town.

46-year old Mr Pearson, who works in the energy industry, said: “We started off with just a few lights and it’s grown more and more every year.

“I can’t even think how many lights we have now.

“It always brings a smile to everyone’s face and we ask people to think about leaving a small donation in our collection box if they feel able to.

“Our switch-on has become such a great event, it’s my favourite part of Christmas.”

With less than two weeks to go until the big day, people up and the down the county are unveiling their festive displays.

Dawn Jackson sent us this picture of her family home in Bloxham, and will be raising money for 'Barks', an animal charity.
