DANCE act Basement Jaxx and singers Craig David and Paloma Faith have been revealed as the headliners of west Oxfordshire's Big Feastival.

The three-day event, held at Blur Bassist Alex James's farm in Kingham, near Chipping Norton, from August 24-26, this summer marks its seventh year.

With a double platinum selling album, two BRIT awards and a Grammy under their belts, Basement Jaxx are among the most-popular indie-dance acts on the scene. The electronic duo will provide the highpoint of Friday night, with R&B star Craig David bringing his 15 top-10s on the Saturday and chirpy pop singer Paloma Faith topping the bill on Sunday night.

The weekend will also feature sets by X Factor 2012 winner James Arthur performing hits from his no.1 album Back from the Edge; electronic dance Clean Bandit, rapper Professor Green, Kidlington reggae master David Rodigan, mixmaster Jaguar Skills, garage duo Artful Dodger, amusing hispanic Feastival veterans The Cuban Brothers, former Spice Girl Melanie C, singer Becky Hill, hip-hop group Sugarhill Gang, former New Order star Peter Hook with his band The Light, and the Hackney Colliery Band.

Food is almost of equal importance on cheesemaker Alex's far, and this summer sees appearances by chef Marco Pierre White and Oxford's Raymond Blanc - Chef Patron of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Great Milton, which has retained two Michelin stars for 33 years.

Adding to the family atmosphere will be children’s TV sensation Justin Fletcher and CBeebies presenter Andy Day, with chances to meet Paddington, The Gruffalo and Peppa Pig and George. Makinga  welcome return will be The Little Dudes’ Den, tree climbing activities, a circus, village green Games and a vintage fun fair.
