A RENOWNED open-air opera which grew from a Garsington home is searching for talented young singers.
Garsington Opera has announced auditions for its youth company production in summer, of John Barber's opera Eliza and The Swans.
Now hosted on the Wormsley Estate in Buckinghamshire, Garsington Opera was founded at Garsington Manor just outside Oxford in 1989. It moved in 2011, when founder Leonard Ingrams died.
The company is searching for singers in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire to apply for open audition workshops on Saturday, March 24, in High Wycombe.
Anyone interested can contact Julian Guidera at julian@garsingtonopera.org or 01865 368201 for more information.
