PLANS for a new 70-bed care home in Wallingford are set to be approved tomorrow night.
South Oxfordshire District Council’s planning committee will meet to decide that and other applications at Howbery Park, Crowmarsh, from 6pm.
Council officers have recommended to the committee that the care home on Reading Road be approved.
Frontier Estates has said its three-storey building would include a dining hall, cafe and hair salon.
Also on the agenda tomorrow night are plans for 40 new homes at Lewknor near Watlington, a request to install a refrigeration unit at a Turkish restaurant in Didcot and five four-bedroom homes in Aston Rowant.
Members of public are welcome to sit in on proceedings.
