THE city's Covered Market was transformed into a wonderland over the weekend as Oxford celebrated Alice's Day.
Traders donned rabbit ears and other costumes as families and children were swept up by the Alice in Wonderland-themed afternoon.
The Story Museum's event also included immersive street theatre, face painting and festivities across the city.
The museum's marketing officer, David Gibb, said: "The Covered Market traders really got involved and people really enjoyed the day.
"We have been doing this every year since 2007 and it's a great celebration of part of Oxford's culture."
David Crispin, a florist at the Garden of Oxford, said: "We had lots of families and young children dressed up in the shop - it's been really good for the market."
