A MAN has been charged following an attack in Bath Street Abingdon which left a 58-year-old injured.
David Evans, of Turberville Close in Abingdon, will appear at Oxford Magistrates Court today in connection with the attack which happened on Monday.
The 50-year-old has been charged with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.
When police first appealed for information about the attack it was treating the investigation as an attempted murder.
