A NURSERY that was fined after a dead mouse and droppings were found in its kitchen is 'clean and safe', Ofsted has found.
Positive Steps Shellingford, near Faringdon, had its kitchen shut down for two days last year after hygiene inspectors made the concerning discovery.
In April its owners pleaded guilty at Oxford Magistrates' Court to food safety and hygiene offences, and were fined £60,000.

Ofsted has now given the nursery a 'good' rating in all areas of assessment, following an inspection in September.
The new report stated: "All staff know how to recognise and respond to any concerns about a child's welfare.
"They provide an interesting and stimulating learning environment which children enjoy exploring.
"Staff plan activities thoroughly so that they capture and maintain children's interest.
" Meals and snacks are nutritious and the nursery environment is clean and safe."
The nursery, which had 48 children on roll at the time of Ofsted's visit, is part of the Busy Bees group.
It had already gained a four-star hygiene rating and was praised by magistrates for quickly bouncing back after the mouse was found in May 2017.
