A SCHOOLGIRL was assaulted in an alleyway by a group of boys in Didcot, police have revealed today.

The 13-year-old needed surgery following the incident after one of the boys pushed her to the ground and rode his bike over her foot.

Police say the girl was walking along Drake Avenue at about 3.25pm on Monday, July 23 when she was approached by three teenage boys who were cycling behind her.

The boys then threatened to attack the victim, before she was pushed to the ground.
