RESIDENTS of southern Oxfordshire have again been warned that they could face a £1,000 fine if they fail to update the details councils hold on them.
South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Council say house visits will be conducted 'in the coming days', if residents fail to respond to a 'Household Enquiry' letter.
The organisations still require the information, from around 20,000 houses, to update the electoral register, ahead of elections in May.
Residents can still avoid receiving a visit by confirming or updating their details immediately at householdresponse.com/southandvale.
The codes on yellow letter or reminder will be needed.
