SUNDAY drivers faced delays on the M40 this morning, after a car became wedged under the barrier following a four-vehicle crash.
Two lanes were closed, with traffic queueing due to an accident in the south-east of the county.
The incident was on the southbound carriageway, before junction six (B4009 Watlington).
Lanes one and two (of three) were closed by Highways Officers whilst the vehicles awaited recovery and there was nearside barrier damage with a car is wedged under the barrier.
Queues stretched for more than 5km, from just after Tetsworth to beyond Lewknor.
