A PUB in southern Oxfordshire is celebrating a double award win.
The Greyhound, in Letcombe Regis took two prestigious accolades: ‘New Pub of the Year Runners Up Best of the Best’ in The Good Pub Guide Awards 2019, and The Good Hotel Guide 2019 ‘Editor’s Choice’ Awards, in the ‘Pub-with-Rooms’ category,
A cosy, characterful pub, it is independently owned and run by village locals, Martyn Reed and Catriona Galbraith.
The pair bought the facility in 2014 before re-openingd in 2015 following a major refurbishment.
It recently won Best Destination Pub (Bucks and Oxon) at the ‘Muddy Awards 2018’ and was named in the Good Beer Guide 2019.
