According to the Mail Online, the property was scoped out by three people who were caught on CCTV.

CCTV images published by the news website showed three people, one seen wearing a balaclava, near the property.

The footballer is joining the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Australia as an ambassador for Harry's Invictus Games for injured service personnel.

A spokesman for the Beckhams declined to comment.

The home is situated along an unnamed road near Soho Farmhouse, an exclusive celebrity club which boasts visitors like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as well as the Beckhams themselves.

The Beckham's caused controversy locally earlier this year with a restrospective planning application for a treehouse at their house.

Once complete, the land will also have a two-tier garden containing an orchard with 23 different types of tree.
