Faringdon Folly
VISITORS to beauty spots in South Oxfordshire have been warned to avoid parking in isolated areas after a spate of thefts from cars.
Police said there were eight thefts from vehicles in the Faringdon and Wantage area yesterday and Wednesday, at varying times.
This has included registration plates being stolen and windows smashed.
Police have said they will be stepping up patrols.
They added the most recent information suggested offenders were using a dark coloured Volkswagen Golf and were operating across different force areas.
