AN OXFORD doctor accused of sexually assaulting a patient at the John Radcliffe Hospital will face a re-trial.
Today, jurors in the case at Oxford Crown Court found Anandagopal Srinivasan, of Sandfield Road, Oxford not guilty of sexually assaulting a woman at Cambridge’s Addenbrooke’s Hospital in 2014.
The panel was unable to reach a verdict however on the charge of assault by penetration alleged to have taken place at the Oxford hospital in 2016.
The 27-year old doctor will face a new trial on that count on May 20.
