A WARNING has gone out to mourners leaving tributes at the site of a crash in which a teenage cyclist died on Tuesday.
The cyclist, who was a Year 12 student at The Henry Box Sixth Form in Witney, was treated at the scene before being taken to the John Radcliffe where he later died.
Tonight, Thames Valley Police has warned those laying tributes to avoid stopping on the 'fast and busy' road.
It said a number of people have been paying their respects at the scene.
A statement said: "While we understand that people want to pay their respects, this is a very fast and busy road used by many heavy goods vehicles, with no footpath."
St Leonard's Church in Eynsham has offered the memorial garden at the front of the church as a safe place for people to lay flowers and gather to pay their respects.
The force added: "For safety reasons we would ask members of the public not to stop at the scene of the collision to lay further flowers."
