DRIVERS faced delays on the A420 and A417 this morning after a crash involving two lorries.
The collision happened on the A417 Lechlade Road in Faringdon, near Faringdon Infant School, blocking traffic in both directions.
Traffic feeds caused some confusion over whether or not the incident was a crash or a breakdown, but South Central Ambulance Service has now confirmed that is was called out to a two-lorry collision.
Spokesman David Gallagher said the service sent a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances to the scene.
One of the lorry drivers was treated at the scene and the other was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Both had minor injuries.
The crash added to the usual congestion on surrounding roads including the A420 and Park Road, around the Aldi roundabout.
Traffic has now cleared.
Traffic shown on Google Maps at 7.30am this morning
