A CHRISTMAS fair 'with a difference' takes place near Wantage tomorrow.
The third Spirit of the Vale Christmas Fair aims to highlight local talent and raise money for charity as well as being a one off Christmas shopping venue.
Running from 12-8pm at Eastmanton House in Sparsholt, the free one-day fair will be showing off 'amazing talent that is right on their doorstep, with a diverse range of stalls'.
The majority of the stalls are based within a 20 mile radius of Sparsholt. Money will be raised for the Church of the Holy Rood, Sparsholt and the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust.
Refreshments from Childrey Stores will be available, with the village convenience store/coffee shop serving teas, coffees and soup in the afternoon, before cocktails and canapés in the evening.
All proceeds plus 10 per cent of the stall holders takings will go to the two charities.
Organiser Ruth Corfield said: "Spirit of the Vale provides a unique opportunity to do all your Christmas shopping in a beautiful 16th century barn while showcasing fantastic local businesses and artisans - many of which are based right on our doorstep - and at the same time raising money and awareness for charities."
