PLANS have been revealed to close an Oxfordshire village post office and move the branch to a new supermarket.
The Post Office is proposing to relocate its Faringdon Road store in Southmoor just under a mile away to the Co-op on Witney Road, Kingston Bagpuize.
Opening hours would be Monday to Sunday between 7am and10pm.
This would mean that the branch would be open an extra 59 hours, including all-day Sunday and Saturday afternoon.
The consultation will close on January 15.
