POLICE have renewed an appeal to trace a man shown in a CCTV image following a burglary in Abingdon.
Officers believe the man shown in the picture may have vital information regarding the burglary in July during which jewellery, electrical items, alcohol and the keys to a van were stolen from the home in Thrupp Lane.
The thief or thieves also stole a VW Caddy van during the raid between 9am on Saturday, July 21 and 10am on Sunday, July 22.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jamie Lawes, based at Abingdon police station, said: “I am re-appealing for anyone who recognises this man to get in touch as I believe he may have information that would be vital to this investigation.

A 30-year-old man from Faringdon has been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with the incident and has since been released under investigation.
