Acorns pre-school in Wantage has raised more than £8,000 for its garden
A PRE-SCHOOL in Wantage has raised more than £8,700 towards rebuilding its garden.
Staff at charity-run Charlton Acorns, which offers early year care, felt the garden was vital for its children, but in a state of disrepair.
Through several fundraising events, including family fundays, raffles, non-uniform days and cake sales, they school raised an impressive £4,386.25.
Santander, which made the school its quarterly charity, then matched the total.
