APPLETON Village Singers will have all donations to Oxford Poverty Action Trust (OxPAT) matched by the Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF) until January 6.
The group brought Christmas cheer to Oxford railway station with carols last week, to raise funds for the homeless in Oxford.
OxPAT Publicity Officer Patrick Mulvihill said about £1,200, after gift aid and OCF match funding, was raised by the group's singing - adding to St Barnabas School choir's efforts at Westgate earlier in the week, which raised around £870.
