A LUCKY Oxfordshire IT worker scooped a Christmas cracker in the shape of a one-of-a-kind £60,000 Audi.

Faringdon's Jacob Walton, 20, was stunned after scooping the ABT version of the Audi RS3 and £20,000 cash on Christmas Eve, courtesy of dream car company Best of the Best (BOTB).

Mr Walton, who works for a software company in Abingdon, said: "I am literally lost for words.

“I’ve been playing with BOTB for a year or so and always had a go for the more insane cars. I love Audis and currently have an A3 but that won’t be here for long.”

The company, founded in 1999, runs weekly car giveaway and a lifestyle competition, giving players the chance to win a host of prizes. It has handed over the keys to more than £25m worth of supercars and is listed on the AIM.

Mr Walton continued: “I’ll have to put some of the money away into savings.

“But I’m also going to have a good holiday and I might buy a couple of extra things for the car.

“I love Christmas but this one is going to take some beating.”

Mr Walton's surprise took place in front of brother Callum, with BOTB’s Christian Williams giving him the news.

Mr Williams said: "Handing people the keys to their dream car is one of the best jobs in the world and it’s even more rewarding when it happens during such a special time of the year,” he said.

“It couldn’t be going to a nicer guy.”
