WILLIAM RICHARD HAVERCROFT, 66, of Banbury Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 66mph in a 40mph zone on the B430, Weston on the Green, on October 3. Fined £500, must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

PAUL IAN JONES, 42, of Lay Avenue, Berinsfield, admitted speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone in Abingdon Road, Burcot on May 30. Fined £220, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Three penalty points.

IONUT MIREA, 37, of Kestrel Way, Bicester, admitted using a vehicle without insurance or a valid test certificate in Queens Avenue, Bicester, on June 16. Fined £880, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and courts costs of £85. Six penalty points.

SCOTT JOHN PALMER, 37, of White Horse Road, Oxford, admitted using a mobile phone while driving in Garsington Road on June 20. Fined £220, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

PETER GRAHAM SMITH, 33, of Trinity Close, Abingdon, was convicted of speeding at 49mph in a 30mph zone in Wantage Road, Rowstock, Fined £440, must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85. Five penalty points.

SASHA WEBB, 45, of Woodin’s Way, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 49mph in a 30mph zone in Sunderland Avenue, Oxford, on June 10. Fined £440, must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85. Five penalty points.

JOEL HENRY WHARTON, 36, of Middleton Road, Banbury, was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving in Henhoff Way, Banbury, on June 21. Fined £220, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

NICK MARCUS ALEC WILSON, 34, of Welford Gardens, Abingdon, was convicted of speeding at 41mph in a 30mph zone in Ducklington Lane, Witney, on April 25. Fined £440, must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85. Four penalty points.

SAMANTHA KIMBERLEY YOUNG, 34, of The Croft, Marsh Baldon, was convicted of speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone in the A338, East Hanney, on April 26. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40. Three penalty points.

DEREK IVES, 38, of Green Road, Kidlington, admitted harassing a woman by leaving her 170 voicemails, many of which were abusive, and attending her place of work and home address. A community order was made and he must attend treatment for drug dependency for six months. A restraining order was put in place until 2020. Must pay £100 compensation and £400 court costs.

GRAHAM RICHARD PHELPS, 39, of Diamond Drive, Didcot, was convicted of assaulting a woman by beating her in Didcot on four occasions between 1 May and September 19. Sentenced to 180 days in prison, suspended for 24 months. Must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. A restraining order was put in place. Must pay £200 compensation, a £115 victim surcharge and £775 court costs.

TIMOTHY STERN, 36, of no fixed abode, was convicted of using threatening, abusive words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence. He was jailed for four weeks suspended for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115

CLYDE SMART, 41, of Barns Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to keep in touch as instructed on July 23. He was ordered to continue and the original disqualification from driving sentence was amended to a total of 15 months.

KELVIN GREEN, 42, of Sherwood Avenue, Abingdon, admitted one count of harassment by breach of a restraining order between December 7 and 10 at Abingdon. He was fined a total of £50 and must also pay a victim surcharge totalling £30 as well as court costs totalling £85.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES'

JOE BREWERTON, 27, of Dalton Barracks, Abingdon, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on December 1 at Bicester. Had 92 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £884 and must pay a victim surcharge of £88 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

STEVEN SHICKLE, 57, of Windmill Close, Banbury, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on December 2 at Bicester. Had 119 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was was made subject to a community order to include 200 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 28 months.

MATTHEW SMITH, 25, of Roman Way, Bicester, admitted stealing meat and steaks valued at £70 from Tesco Express, Bicester, on August 29. He must pay compensation of £70 and court costs of £175.

SEBASTIAN BROCK, 30, of Cup and Saucer, Cropredy, admitted possession without lawful authority of a knife and two counts of assaulting two women at Banbury on November 15 as well as causing criminal damage to doors and windows. He was made subject to a community order to include alcohol treatment requirement for six months, rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days and 80 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay compensation of £500 and court costs of £250.

EDMUND ROWE, 26, of Lower Brails, Banbury, admitted aggravated vehicle taking at Epwell, Oxfordshire, on April 27, as well as driving without a valid driving licence or third party insurance and driving above the legal alcohol limit. Had 128 mlg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He was made subject to a community order to include 180 hours of unpaid work and must pay compensation of £2,500 and court costs of £400 and was disqualified from driving for 14 months.
