EMERGENCY services were scrambled yesterday after a cyclist was injured falling from his bike in Grove.
The man, aged in his 60s, fell off his bike at the junction of Newlands Drive and Denchworth Road.
It happened about midday.
South Central Ambulance Service said he injured his leg and hip and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
A picture of the emergency services response was posted online to Wantage and Grove Community Facebook page.
Despite the circumstances of this incident not yet know, several comments on ther Facebook page said the junction has seen a number of similar incidents recently and blamed the poor road conditions.
