A SCAM where members of the public are told there is a warrant for their arrest has sparked a warning from police.

Thames Valley Police South and Vale has tweeted that residents are receiving voicemails stating are set to be arrested and telling them to call back on a number given.

Officers confirmed this is a scam and asked anyone who receives a message like this to call 101.
