AN Oxford pub that dates back to the 18th century is set to be refurbished.
Greene King, which owns Port Mahon, in St Clement's, has submitted plans to Oxford City Council to revamp the Grade II-listed building.

Documents submitted with the application show the intention to create a new snug area as well as reinstate two fireplaces, sand and stain the floors, as well as paint the front of the historic pub.
The company insisted the changes would be 'respectful of the heritage of the site'.

No date has been revealed for the planned work but a decision date on the application is expected by March 25.
