A POLICE officer accused of having sex with another officer while he was on duty will face a disciplinary hearing today.
PC Alan Russell, who was based at Abingdon Police Station, is alleged to have had sex while on duty in August 2017.
He is also accused of 'initiating contact' with a woman suspect despite being the investigating officer in her case in February 2018.
It is also alleged that he had sex with the woman in May 2018. It is unclear whether the woman remained a suspect at that point.
The hearing will take place at Thames Valley Police headquarters in Kidlington today.
It is expected to last two days.
Mr Russell has already resigned.
