SEVERAL Oxford pubs are undergoing Spring revamps to get ready for the busy summer season.
With so many fresh new looks set to be unveiled, we've rounded up the latest pub renovations and what punters can expect when they re-open their doors.
The Somerset/Up in Arms, Marston
Perhaps the most significant pub project in the city at the moment is the transformation of what was the Somerset in Marston Road into the Up in Arms.
Dodo Pub Company, owners of the Rusty Bicycle and Rickety Press, are re-opening the pub after five years.
Workers arrived on the site last week to undertake a full-scale revamp along the lines of the company's existing pubs and it could be open again next month.

The Perch, Binsey
The Perch in Binsey, a favourite with walkers in Port Meadow, has re-opened after being shut for much of January and February.
Work is continuing however to build a new dining room to replace the existing temporary pergola.
The new space, which will cater for 60 covers, is due to be done by the end of the month.

The White Horse, Headington
The White Horse in Headington is another pub which has been done up.
Lord Mayor Colin Cook raised a glass to celebrate the revamp on Wednesday.
The London Road establishment has had new screens installed, more seats put in and widened its selection of drinks.

James Street Tavern, east Oxford
Meanwhile East Oxford's James Street Tavern is set for a complete overhaul after being taken on by the team behind the Old Bookbinders in Jericho.
After a short closure, the pub reopened in December and launched a consultation last week for customers to have their say on what they would like to see done to the 19th century building.

The Grapes, George Street
George Street's the Grapes will undergo its second renovation in as many years after being taken on by a microbrewery.
West Berkshire Brewery has bought the lease of the George Street hostelry from The City Pub Company.
A popular pub for theatre goers, the pub was temporarily known as Beerd but had its original look and feel restored in 2017.
The current raft of changes are not expected to be too drastic with a 'sympathetic refurb'.
The new owners want to have it ready by for business again by the end of April.
